How is Icon Rocklear applied?

Icon Rocklear is applied as a single layer of liquid coating by certified technicians in a meticulous, multi-step process that involves thorough paint preparation, ensuring a contaminant-free environment, and applying the coating evenly to the vehicle’s surface; the entire application typically takes two days, with a full cure time of 30 days where the vehicle can be driven but should not be washed for the first 7 days.

You can expect to pay anywhere between $1700-$2500 per full installation depending on vehicle size, condition, and other factors. Ceramic coatings can run from $1700-$3000 with a paint correction. Comparably, you are getting a much stronger and shinier product.

Icon Rocklear, when professionally applied, can reach a thickness of around 2.5 mils (63 microns) in a single layer, which is significantly thicker than most traditional ceramic or graphene coatings, making it considered roughly 35 times thicker than a standard ceramic coating which is around 1-2 microns.
Icon Rocklear is made to last a minimum of at least 15 years with proper application and requires minimal maintenance, significantly outlasting most ceramic coatings which typically last 1-3 years and require monthly and yearly maintenance.

No. Icon Rocklear is the first of its kind, transparent coating system that solidifies into a high shine, self healable film with immense strength and durability for ultimate aesthetics and protection.

Is Icon Rocklear a Ceramic Coating?

No. Ceramic coatings were developed in the early 2000s and have pretty much remained the same since. Relying on mostly water beading and easier to cleanse vehicles. Icon Rocklear was originally engineered in 2016 and has been advanced several times with the most recent formulation in 2023. Designed for protection, brilliance, and ease of cleaning.

how do you remove icon rocklear?

Icon Rocklear does not need to be removed because it is a system. You can polish it, wet sand it, relayer it, paint over it, wrap over it, paint protection film over it, and ceramic coat over it, making it a versatile system. If need to be removed, a professional can remove it via paint removal procedures.
